Full Description:
Governor Sir James Wright, Savannah to Lieutenant-Governor John Graham. Reports repeated rebel attacks and kidnapping of 'negro' slaves plus burning of houses, buildings and crops. Believes that rebel objectives are to take all the slaves and lay waste to the whole countryside. Asks what is there to stop them and speculates that nothing can save the province except an influx of Loyalist troops
