Full Description:
Clinton to Sir James Wright. Charlestown, South Carolina. Receipt of previous letters. Congratulates him on the security given to Georgia by the fate of this place. Did intend to have marched a considerable force to Augusta but difficulties and delays prevented this. Wishes however that Colonel Browne with a detachment, may be sent towards the frontier as expeditiously as possible.
