Full Description:
Clinton to Cornwallis. Headquarters, Charlestown. Instructions regarding the takeover and informing him that the principals in departments and the Inspector General of the Provincial Forces have been asked to tend the fullest information to him. They are to communicate their general instructions given to them from Clinton. All letters directed for Clinton should be opened by Cornwallis and he is to deal with those matters, and then inform Clinton of his decisions. Discusses decisions he has made and that Cornwallis is to carry on with during his takeover.
