Full Description:
Leslie to Clinton. Charlestown. Report with regard to the general and field officers of the army and captured or detained property during the present expedition. 'No partition or dividend can be made of them as it will require a considerable space of time to ascertain the claims of individuals, consitent with the several proclamations issued by your Excellency. Begs leave to recommend that all such effects shall be secured and put under custody of appropriate persons'.
