Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Recounts events regarding sailings including, how since his letter of 3 May accounts have been received of Monsieur De Tormay's having sailed on the 2 May with the forces he had then stated, Rear Admiral Graves sailed on the 5 May from Plymouth to reinforce Vice Admiral Arbuthnot, and that a fleet has sailed from Cadiz on the 28 April consiting of 12 ships of the line of Spain and 4 of France with 10,000 troops on board. Their destination is not certainly known. Also mentions the necessity of having to alter the bill called the New York Bill, and that it is still in the House of Commons.
