Full Description:
Dalrymple to Major Henry Bruen and Captain Archd. Robertson. New York. Has received orders from the Commander-in-Chief to depart for Europe. Informs them that it is His Excellency's intention that all horses, waggons etc., employed in the Quartermaster General's department remain on their present footing, except particular instructions to the contrary which are sent. Three months notice will be given to the proprietors of the [baggage] train of the army before their property is discharged by the service. Six armed, and two express vessels are to be fitted out as quickly as possible.
