Full Description:
Captain W. Spry to Mr Smith. Halifax. Copy of the same letter which was sent to Brigadier-General McLean (item no 2965). His accounts for the year 1779 have ben submitted near seven months. Requests a warrant to enable him to pay off the many demands upon him. Unless he can proceed on this business immediately he will be unable to take advantage of the leave of absence granted by the Commander-in-Chief.
