Full Description:
Franklin to Clinton. Windsor, Nova Scotia. Acknowledgment of letters received and sent. Referring to the expense to the Navy Board of the presents for the Indians, how no provisions can be received without orders from the Commander-in-Chief, and the enclosed extract of Germain's letter which shows that Indian presents promised and were shipped on board the 'Vernon', but that they had not arrived at Halifax.
