Full Description:
Clinton to McLean. New York. Discusses how in previous dispatches he had acquainted the Brigadier-General about a French armament being expected on the coast, and which was destined for Canada. This armament has arrived and still remains. Also mentions distress for want of provisions, asks for the surplus (of 5,000 barrels of pork) from garrison at Halifax.
