Full Description:
Clinton to Haldimand. New York. General Arnold has given up the forts at West Point and joined Clinton which has thrown the rebel army into great confusion, Admiral Rodney in on the coast with a superior fleet, and there is little probability of a second division of French ships this year. Lord Cornwallis gained a complete victory on 16 August at Camden over the rebel army under General Gates, and there is a great defection in the Spanish Colonies. Document contains (3 sides of) coding.
