Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Number 70. Received dispatches. Discusses Arbuthnot not being able to make an attack on Monsieur De Ternay, and the copies and extracts of Lord Cornwallis's letters. The affair of Bulls Ferry, and the misunderstanding between the land and sea forces appointed to act together. Happy to receive 'Returns of the Camp Equipage and necessaries wanting for the troops in 1781, and also the Report of the Board of Field Officers on the necessaries sent out in 1779'.
