Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Number 71. Discusses the King's opinion on the command of Jamaica and North America, and a reinforcement of troops. Informs Clinton that if he no longer wishes to continue his command and return home, he is to resign his forces to Lord Cornwallis, or transmit to him all instructions and other papers which may be necessary for his conduct and information.
