Jonathan Ketchum to Clinton. New York. Petition from Norwalk, Connecticut. Represents his losses for his loyalty, and that he came off with Governor Tryon in 1779 quite destitute. Has been sick at Huntington, Long Island. Proffered a memorial to General Pattison but that being improperly made it brought no relief. One son has died in H.M. service, another has been taken prisoner, asks his clemency and charity. Recommended by Jeremiah Leaming and John Sayre.
