Rawdon to [Clinton]. Camp between the Broad River and the Catawba. Writing in place of Cornwallis who has service fever. Discusses their present situation particularly with regard to the earlier scattering of the enemy, the proposed advance into North Carolina, and the lack of information and provisions. Encloses a opy of letter mentioning Major General Leslie in the Chesapeak.
