Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Governor Maxwell of the Bahama Islands has acquainted him that Captain Grant persists in showing the same disregard to his authority which he did to that of his predecesor, Governor Browne. He has paid little attention to the health of the troops, who are without medicines and the surgeon is absent. His Majesty thinks it fit that Captain Grant should be immediately recalled from that command and another officer appointed to succeed him.
