Full Description:
Lord Rawdon to Lieutenant-Colonel Balfour. An extract of a letter from Camden [South Carolina] regarding the action by Lord Cornwallis in crossing the Catawba, and the routing of the enemy, with their commander killed in a report received, and mentioned by Lieutenant Hunt. Cornwallis is said to have reached Salisbury, but over 200 [?American] prisoners have escaped the guard escorting them to Virginia.
