Full Description:
Cornwallis to Germain. A letter from Guilford acknowledging dispatch of 9 November, that was relaying praise on officers and men who had fought on 16 August. Not sure if Lieutenant-Governor Bule and other officers had arrived in South Carolina due to a breakdown in communications. Directions received regarding the prisoners of war held in Charlestown and prospects of negotiations pending, but failing that, instructions given to change their incarceration.
