Full Description:
Catherine Darby to Clinton. Memorial. Representing her sufferings for her loyalty and her present destitution. Has sons in the royal army, one of whom was a guide to Clinton at the time of the taking of Fort Montgomery. She has resided in the city [of New York] for about three years and although old and infirm has endeavoured to earn her bread by her labour.
