Full Description:
Rachel Myers to Clinton. New York. Petition. That she was an inhabitant of Newport [Rhode Island] but from the decisive part her son Benjamin took with the 'Associated Refugees', she was obliged to come with her nine children to New York. Begs ration of provisions. Recommended by a number of officers of the 43rd and 22nd Regiments. Referred by Colonel Morris, 12 June 1781 and rations ordered.
