Full Description:
Goreham to Seitz and Bruce. Halifax. The Enclosed has been sent by the late McLean in the last express to the Commander-in-Chief. Trusts there will not arise the least idea in dispute of rank and command where its so fully expressed by the King's commission and support by many precedents. However at this time thinks it necessary to guard against any avenues of difficulty that might otherwise be suggested and thereby operate to the prejudice of His Majesty's service.
