Full Description:
Goreham to Seitz. Halifax. States his grounds for disapproval of the present proceedings upon the death of General McLean. On repeated applications to McLean orders were given out relative to his doing duty, in which duty he took rank of all the lieutenant-colonels in the garrison, and a few days before the general's death he said he would not undertake to decide, but would refer it to the Commander-in-Chief.
