Full Description:
Baron De Cockenhausen to Major Henry Bruen. New York. General Knyphausen is of the opinion that the number of orderly waggons attached to the Hessian Regiments cannot be diminished. There is but one waggon with two horses per company. Acknowledges letter of yesterday and agrees to leave the artillery and waggon horses at pastures on Long Island until further emergencies.
