Full Description:
George Diefendorf, refugee to Clinton. New York. Memorial. With two sons serving, he came from Philadelphia after being robbed and plundered by the rebels and having his throat cut. He and his wife are old and destitute of the necessaries of life. Prays that His Excellency will order him address. Certified by George Harding and John Granger. Accompanied by a medical certificate from S. Seabury, 17 May, Physician to the almshouse to which Diefendorf was brought when he had had his throat cut.
