Full Description:
Earl Cornwallis, Byrd's Plantation, north of the James River, to Clinton. Giving a detailed account of the military situation in the region. On the ordering of General Leslie to reinforce Portsmouth with two batttalion of Asnbach troops and the 17th Regiment, and plans to dislodge the Comte de Lafayette from Richmond. Also details the sending of Arnold northwards to New York, and the weakness of Britain's hold on the Carolinas.
