Full Description:
Colonel Ira Allen to General Haldimand. Sunderland. Discussing the question of Vermont, and whether there was an intended truce or nuetrality. The British Government was willing to grant it charter privileges for a colony if it would accept them, three agents were appointed to attend Congress, but there was concern that Vermont was being kept in suspense until the end of the war when it would be divided up amongst the claiming states.
