Full Description:
Governor Sir James Wright to Lieutenant Colonel Balfour. Savannah, Georgia. Discusses the need for reinforcement but not receiving them, information of the plan against Augusta and Savannah, and the consequent raising of a militia. As co-operation and assistance is needed from Balfour, they will await his answer before any movement takes place, if nothing is done expects the consequences he has mentioned. Enumerates the objects of the movement, begs Balfour to to communicate this letter to Lord Rawdon, and to dispatch a boat in answer as soon as possible.
