Full Description:
Clinton to Leslie. Instructions to proceed in the 'Blonde' to Charlestown and assume command. To inform himself of instructions which may have already been given by Cornwallis. To report back on the state of the provisions and what operations it is felt best would restore good order. Goes on to mention the troops, sending invalids fit for garrison duty, pay and warrants, and the direction of civil matters.
