Full Description:
Clinton to Cornwallis. New York. Discusses intelligence he has received regarding Mr Washington moving an army southward, and Captain Stanhope of the 'Pegasus' being chased by eight ships that were believed to be French. Postscript, Washington, who has about 4,000 French and 2,000 rebel troops with him is said to be heading to Shentown.
