Full Description:
Governor Walter Patterson to Campbell. Charlotton [South Carolina] . Discusses the contents of previous letters, including one from Germain regarding Callbeck's company, the erection of a block house and the withdrawl of Hierlihy's men. From both public and private advice a French fleet and army are expected on the coast of America so there will be no removal of troops as security is important. Also the need for clothing and bedding, and begs to mention those deserving of promotion.
