Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Number 91. Acknowledges receipt of previous letters and dispatches which at first opportunity will lay before the king. Also regards: his congratualtions upon the safe arrival of the recruits, the detaining of a packet (as it was unsafe to sail with the combined fleets of France and Spain cruising off the channel), the preservation of superiority at sea, and a plan for the taking of Philadelphia.
