Full Description:
William Wannamaker to Robertson. Petition. That he was obliged by his loyalty to leave a farm and living in Bergen County, New Jersey. Is old and cannot maintain his family by his labour. Accompanied by a certificate signed by Isaac Browne and Abraham Buskirk, 15 September 1781, as to Wannamaker's loyalty &c., and recommending him, two grown up daughters and two children, for provisions. Has a son who is a [Loyalist] soldier in the 4th battalion of the New Jersey Volunteers. Added is an order by Thomas Murray, 28 September for Colonel Morris to put the petitioner and two children on his list for provisions.
