Full Description:
Clinton to Robinson. New York. That Major Drummond had announced discoveries of expenditure of the public money and had found a plan for a great saving. That a 'Board of Officers' has been appointed, that the comparative view on which Drummond had 'erected his flattering edifice had been collected from insufficient and unauthentic materials', and the Drummod now withdraws this. Sends a report of the proceedings of the board.
