Minutes of the meeting of the Board of General Officers. Headquarters, New York. Resolved that there seems no necessity to reinforce Charlestown, and the defence of Savannah to be left to General Leslie as circumstances may direct. Those present, Clinton, Robertson, Dalrymple, Knyphausen, Paterson, Birch. Signed by Peter Russell.
