Clinton to Germain. New York. Number 152. Includes copies of Leslie's last letters from Carolina. Discusses subjects such as the want of confidence in the troops, numbers of men fit for duty, and not sending Leslie the reinforcements he solicited. Ascertaining the naval force of the enemy, and a meeting of a council of all of the general officers there.
