Full Description:
Clinton to Robinson. New York. Transmits the most material of the remaining papers which were sent him, with the report of the Board respecting Major Drummond's observations on the expenditures of the public departments. On reconsidering the matter, thinks it necessary to trouble their Lordships with any other observations thereon than what are contained in any last dispatches, as Major Drummond's ideas on this business seem to have been to hastily taken up from insufficient information. Includes also, the schedule of inclosures in a letter of 28 December 1781 to the Treasury.
