Full Description:
Peter Vallean, blacksmith (late of Dutchess County) to Governor James Robertson of New York. Memorial. He has supported his wife and family by trade, but is now too ill. Begs some provision. Certified by Samuel Bord and Bartholomew Crannell. Recommended by Beverley Robinson. A note from Thomas Murray follows, dated 11 January 1782, ordering rations for the petitioner, his wife and children.
