Full Description:
Bernardo De Galvez to Clinton. Havana. Delivered by Baron Winterfield (second lieutenant, Irish Infantry), who goes with the English families left sick at Pensacola, which was the reason of their detention. He will inform of the proceedings with Campbell and of the motives for no acceding to the Convention made between Campbell and the Governor of Havana that the prisoners should be sent to New York in exchange for Spaniards who might be at Jamaica. The French had made better complaints that the prisoners going there would reinforce the British army. Recommends the officers who bears this dispatch.
