Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Received dispatches which he laid before the king. Discussion includes, Lord Corwallis's capitulation and correspondence, his coversation with Dalrymple, and the restoring of confidence by saying that no post, place or garrison should be surrendered. The fatal issue of the Virginia expedition, no more Regiments or Corps being sent from England to America, but says that if Loyalists wish to push forward then help is to be offered to them. The necessaries demanded to this year for the regiments are to be sent out, and the exchange of the Convention Troops and Burgoyne.
