Full Description:
[Clinton] to Lieutenant Colonel Alured Clarke. New York. Received letter with the plan and Returns. Discussion includes the Spaniards making an attempt against St Augustine, and assurances to the Loyalists and the inhabitants. A postscript, received direction to pay a Corps consisting of 60 militia which Wright has embodied for the purpose of keeping a 'Continual Watch upon the Frontiers of Georgia'. Encloses a copy of the minister's letter on this subject for his information and guidance.
