Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Number 97. Has received previous dispatches. Discusses the forces in South Carolina and Georgia reduced so as not to be able to afford protection to the loyal inhabitants at any considerable distance from Charlestown and Savannah, and about Clinton not sending reinforcements because of the perceived attack on New York. Regrets the capture of the 'September' packet but duplicates of the letters on board are being sent, which he hopes have been received.
