Full Description:
Commissioners [Henry] Knox and [Robert] Morris to Clinton. Elizabeth Town [Elizabethtown, New Jersey]. Reporting on the meeting between the commissioners of both sides with regard to the exchange of prisoners. Many of those commissioners initially nominated by Clinton had changed so the meeting was deferred. In order to facilitate the meeting, they suggest the Commissary of Prisoners enter into all necesary arrangement, for accommadating those gentlemen who are appointed. Awaiting an answer from His Excellency.
