Full Description:
[Frederick] Haldiamand [Governor of Quebec] to [Sir William] Clinton. Sorell, 16 March. Number 1. Has not heard from Clinton since his letter of 2 August and is anxious for news from him. Montreal, 1 April. This is the nineteenth letter he has written to Clinton since the last one was received on 2 August, mentions he is in total ignorance of the enemy's views and intentions which common reports direct against this province. Repeats appeal for communication from him.
