Full Description:
Jehiel Ketchum to Clinton. New York. Petition. That he came over with Major-General [William] Tryon when he made his last expedition into Connecticut, after undergoing and suffering every species of vengeance that vindictive malice could invent. Has a wife and seven children and begs assistance. Annexed is a certificate from Jeremiah Leaming, New York, 20 March, followed by one from John Sayre. Referred to Colonel Morris to the Board of Associated Loyalists and recommended by that board 22 March. Rations ordered by Lieutenant General Robertson.
