Full Description:
Alexander Leslie to [Clinton]. Camp. Discusses his situation with regard to his service, health and the need to return to Europe to attend to family matters, which includes his aged mother and his only daughter who has formed a good alliance but is under promise to him to remain single until he sees her. Mentions that Dr Hayes will inform that through sickness and accidents his health is unfit to stand the summer.
