The inhabitants of Monmouth County [New Jersey] to Washington. Those assembled on account of the horrid and almost unparalled murder [i.e. the hanging] of Captain Joshua Huddy [of the Patriot Militia] by, it is presumed, the [Loyalist] refugees from New York. Detailed description of events, including a demand for vengeance.
