Clinton to Moncrief. New York. Discussion which includes the situations with regard to any threats Moncrief may have as well as those in Jamaica, there being 5,035 rank and file fit for duty in Charlestown and its environs, and having to give up of the Quarter House. Reports Lord Dunmore's arrival, the securing of the James River, and that the arming of 'negroes' requires a little consideration. As soon as possible he will let him know his ideas.
