Full Description:
John Allin to Clinton. New York. Petition of a poor refugee from Bergen County in the Province of New Jersey. Has three sons in His Majesty's service and has left all he had for his attachment to government. Is now an old man and has been sick most of the winter. Asks for help and keep. Certificate signed by James Hallet and others. A recommendation by Mr [William] Franklin for the Board of Associated Loyalists, 29 April. Note from Thomas Murray granting rations, 3 May.
