Full Description:
Rodah Pew. Deposition. Her husband James, a Loyalist from Middletown in the County of Monmouth, was taken by the Rebels in November 1778. He was put in jail and then put to death. She had taken him some clothes and had found his corpse lying on the floor in the prison, having been shot by the sentry in the jail. The deponent is saying that the Americans rebels never punished the murderer. Sworn before William Walton.
