Full Description:
Board of General Officers. Headquarters. Minutes. Decided that Lippincott and other persons concerned with him in putting Huddy to death, to be tried by General Courts-Martial. The Court to be composed of officers from the regular and Provincial corps. The Board decided that it would be proper for the Commander-in-Chief to write to the President of the Board of Loyalists to know for whom the three prisoners of war taken by Lippincott were exchanged, and what report he made to the Board on his return from Sandy Hook. They should also give the number of prisoners now in their custody and in future not exchange without the Commander-in-Chief's orders.
