Full Description:
Clinton to Skinner. Desires that Lieutenant Thomas, a Continental Officer who lately came in a falg of truce to Staten Island, may be released and allowed to return to Elizabeth Town [Elizabethtown, New Jersey]. To report all particulars respecting the detention of J S Hatfield, and to send to New York the other men belonging to the same flag so that they may be examined and measures taken to procure the release of those refugees now prisoners with the enemy.
